Visit Catoctin Wildlife Preserve

Catoctin Wildlife Preserve is open seasonally each year, usually opening in March as temperatures get above 40 and our tropical animals begin to feel comfortable outside.

Visiting hours and our list of shows, interactive zones, keeper talks, and special events expand through May.  Memorial Day to Labor Day, we are at our full schedule, with Camel Rides and Safari Rides every day.

In the fall, we reverse the schedule until we close our doors to guests for the winter, usually sometime in November.
